The project entailed assisting the client with packaging small volumes of product to facilitate their expansion into the Chinese market. The first challenge was preparing the product to meet the specific requirements of the Chinese market, which involved Tjoapack receiving blank blisters and performing postponement packaging. The blister captions needed to be market-specific, including translations into Chinese. Additionally, the low product volumes presented a logistical challenge, complicating tertiary packaging and the overall preparation for transportation.
Tjoapack developed a solution to carton 10 printed blisters per pack to ensure product integrity, optimizing the process for low-volume orders. This approach addressed the logistical challenges posed by the small quantities and ensured the product was safely prepared for transportation. Furthermore, all market-specific requirements, including the use of Chinese language on the blister captions, were successfully met. As a result, the product entered the Chinese market smoothly, and the solution was subsequently adopted for all postponement packaging projects.
